Marine biologist Andrea Marshall provides an insight into the life and behaviour of manta rays off the coast of Mozambique. She carries out investigations to shed light on these little-known creatures that grow up to seven metres long and are considered one of the most intelligent inhabitants of the ocean. Her underwater photography studies reveal their curious nature, ritual courtship dances and the existence of a giant new species.
