For two years, a filmmaker follows the all girl rock band Betty
Blowtorch documenting the band's ferocious sound and dangerously
low-tech pyrotechnic show, unaware of the turmoil and tragedy that he
will ultimately capture. The award-winning documentary chronicles the
rise of the hard rocking, foul-mouthed female foursome from its roots to
its tragic end with the death of the leader Bianca Halstead (Butthole).
