Description

The singer embarks on a journey across the continent, talking to local people about the factors that have shaped life in Africa and discovering the enormous variety of environments, from baking deserts to lush rainforests. His odyssey begins in Tanzania's Rift Valley, where mankind is believed to have originated, and takes him through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Masailand. He also meets the Hadsa people, whose way of life has gone unchanged for 50,000 years, and travels to Somalia, a country riven by fierce border disputes
