Part 1 of this 6 Part series called Invasion, looks at the programs, round-ups and killing of Jews in Lithuania, Ukraine and Russia as the Germans advanced into these areas from 1941 on, carried out by both German soldiers and the Einsatzgruppen and local anti-Semites and police. Includes interviews with those who participated in, witnessed, or survived the killings. Also places it within the context of a deliberate policy from Hitler and Himmler.
