Description

Stephen Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine embark on a journey to track down the northern white rhino in the war-torn Democratic Republic of the Congo, the area where the critically endangered creatures were last seen. With an estimated population of just four still living in the wild, the duo discover how the animal's first cousin, the southern white rhino, was itself once near to extinction but is now flourishing with a population of 17,000. Plus, Stephen has an encounter with silverback gorillas and Mark babysits some chimpanzees.
