The story of Dr AQ Khan, a scientist who copied secret blueprints
from his Dutch employers in a bid to make his native Pakistan a nuclear
force, and became a national hero following the testing of his bomb
design in 1998. However, the CIA and MI6 discovered the terrifying
extent of his plans, and he was put under house arrest by President
Pervez Musharraf in 2004, where he still remains.
