Imagine a city where every year 4 million people take to their roofs to launch a kite, then they go into battle trying to cut down other peoples kites down with razor sharp string.
When a kite comes tumbling down to earth, they'll launch another one - sometimes up to twohundred for each person.
Sounds like fantasy, a multicolored dream, but it happens every year in the Indian city of Ahmedabad. It is in celebration of the festival Makar Sankranti - the day the sun starts to travel north: The sign of the arrival of Summer.
